Our approach
lindseywebsolutions.com does not load optional Google Analytics until you choose “Allow analytics.” Choosing “Essential only” keeps analytics disabled. We store your choice in browser local storage under lws-consent-v1 so we can honor it.
Essential technologies
Essential technologies may be used for security, traffic delivery, rate limiting, form protection, session continuity, and remembering privacy choices. Blocking them can prevent a requested feature from working.
Optional analytics
If you allow analytics, Google Analytics may store identifiers and process page URL, device or browser information, approximate location, page views, form completion events, and clicks to LWS-operated products. We use it to understand aggregate site use and improve the site. We do not intentionally send form-message content, credentials, website-audit inputs, or confidential client data to analytics.
The local preference lws-consent-v1 remains until you change it or clear site data. Google Analytics commonly uses first-party identifiers beginning with _ga, which may persist for up to two years unless cleared or shortened by Google or our configuration. Delivery and abuse-prevention providers such as Cloudflare may set short-lived essential security cookies when needed.
Other LWS properties
Our child products may need essential account, security, community, payment, or service cookies and may present their own product-specific notice. A product’s notice controls for that product.
Change your choice
Use “Cookie settings” in the footer to reopen the choice. Choosing “Essential only” after previously allowing analytics disables further Google Analytics collection from this site and removes accessible first-party _ga identifiers. You can also clear site data in your browser. A detected Global Privacy Control signal defaults this site to essential-only storage; you may still reopen settings.
